"Sehr schönes Ferienhaus im schönen Städtchen Grou. Die Ausstattung des Hauses ist super und besonders hat uns der große Wohnraum mit offener Küche und großer Terrasse mit Blick aufs Wasser gefallen. Für Familien absolut empfehlenswert, für zwei Parteien sind die Schlafzimmer evtl. ein bisschen zu klein."

"The owner of this property must use google translator as most of the messages he sent me made no sense. This then made it difficult to understand the check in process. Thank goodness the kind lady at the registration office clarified things for me. I understood that towels/tea towels would be included with the linens, but there was an extra fee for these items. Just a note for mobility challenged guests, the stairs are very steep and narrow."

"Our Holiday in grou was wonderful. The house was really well equipped and big enoug for all of our family + our dogs. The garden is surrounded by fences and hedges. That gives you a lot of privacy and you don`t have to worry about the dogs. The garden is big enough for playing tabletennis and badminton, which we did a lot :-) Moreover there is a little ferry 5 minutes away, which brings you to the city center for shopping or visiting restaurants or doing some waterspouts. "Lovely location and clean property. Niggles were around the owner not responding to questions about what would already be there (there were filters for the coffee machine, now there are 2 boxes! There is a car charge point nearby but no idea if we could have accessed it). We also weren’t sure if we were allowed onto the jetty but presumed we were. But a nice quiet place to stay."

"Wir nutzten unsere Unterkunft als Schlafquartier. Tagsüber waren wir immer unterwegs. Klein (bei schlechtem Wetter bestimmt zu klein für 5 Personen), idyllisch gelegen, aufwachen mit Vogelgezwitscher, ruhe aber auch im inneren sehr spartanisch eingerichtet (das ein oder andere Geschirrteil haben wir dann doch vermisst)"

"Ich bin mit Freunden und zwei Kinder (1 Jahr) über Silvester in der Unterkunft gewesen. Wir fanden es traumhaft schön. Die Unterkunft ist super sauber und der Whirlpool läd zum Entspannen ein. Wir hatten eine super schöne Zeit und würden das Haus jederzeit wieder buchen. Der Start in 2024 war phänomenal."

"Sehr schön an einem See gelegen, können bis zu sechs Persönchen in diesem Häuschen unterkommen. Das Auto parkt im zugangsbeschränktem Bereich direkt vor dem Haus. Gute Hausstruktur, so dass Schlafen und Wohnen auf diesem Raum möglich ist. Die Terasse ist zum Teil überdacht und reicht als sonnenbeschienener Teil bis ans Wasser. Sitzmöbel sind auch außen vorhanden. Die Enten und Schwäne schauen öfter mal nach. Die Ausstattung ist reichlich, ein scharfes Messer fehlt. Als Selbstversorger kann man...

"Nice clean property, but a few key things missing: 1. Fly screens; you cannot afford to open the windows either during the day or night, because there are loads and loads of mosquitos around the property, in trees etc. It's quite a damp area, so they love it. Alternatively, the owners can put air conditioning in. 2. Curtains/blinds on the front door and kitchen window; there's currently no privacy when you go from bedroom to bathroom, as the fully glazed front door will allow everyone outside to...

"It was the perfect place for our family of five to explore the Groningen area and our family's ancestry. The house was spacious, clean, quiet, and located right on a canal. We rented the boat and took it out on the lake one day. The weather was beautiful and we enjoyed grilling and eating outside on one of the many decks surrounded by flowering bushes and plants. We wish we had more time to spend at the house and in the Kropswolde/Groningen area but hope to come back someday!"
