"We spent Christmas here with our dog and found the property suited us in every way - a large secure garden for the dog (with access from both the living room and bedroom), lovely spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen all in a peaceful location. We were able to visit Strasbourg and Colmar very easily from here and also enjoy the Rhine and discover the lovely town of Gengenbach. Delightful hosts next door."

"This property is beautiful and the location is perfect for exploring the Black Forest. We did experience a couple of challenges, but the host was fantastic and did everything he could to put things right and quickly. It is very isolated here, so no nipping to the shop, but it’s exactly what we wanted. Kids would love it here. So much for them to do. Thank you for a lovely stay."

"I LOVED House Mayfa! After making the cottage my home for 65 nights I was very sad to leave. It is on a quiet road that dead ends at an old dairy farm. Neighbors are quiet and respectful. The home is quaint and extremely comfortable. The hosts have incorporated lots of local and tasteful antiques and accessories. Die Ausstattung lässt keine Wünsche offen, zusätzlich gibt es noch Extras wie ein Trampolin und eine eigene Bergbahn (bei der sogar die Durchsagen und Türöffnung noch funktionieren). "A wonderful accommodation in a quiet, picturesque village within driving distance to many points of interest in the Black Forest. The accommodation itself is very well equipped and spacious for a large group. Nothing beats waking up to birdsong and postcard views every morning. My only gripe would be that most instructions in the property are written solely in German. Translated versions for overseas visitors would help greatly. Other then that, perfect."

"We had such a nice stay, the whole ground floor was ours. The house was very clean and had a surprisingly well stocked kitchen. We had everything we needed to cook. The living room was spacious with nice balcony to have our breakfast. The supermarket is 10 mins walk and stocks everything we needed. Our hosts the Klocke family were amazing and very accomodating. They helped us a lot with good recommendations. A great place to stay to trek in the Black Forest or visit the near town Baden-Baden."

Freundliche, aufgeschlossenen Wirtsleute, die im dahinter angebauten Haus wohnen, erfüllen einem auch Sonderwünsche, wie eine Ladesteckdose für das E-Auto am Parkplatz. Einziger Kritikpunkt sind die parkenden Autos der gegenüberliegenden Autowerkstatt. Ansonsten ein perfektes dörfliches Ferienhaus zum erschließen der Gegend vom Pfälzer Wald im Norden und dem Nationalpark nördliche Vogesen."

There is no shampoo or shower gel but the hand soap(!) in the shower. The breakfast at 9:50 was empty (should be till 11:00) and was not renewed, considerable luck of the serving personal at the restaurant, actually gust one girl."
