Annual UP snowmobile trip
We spend 5 days each year in the UP snowmobiling at various locations. This was definitely one of the nicer places we stayed and the best location so far for trail access. It was also one of the more affordable VRBO's we found.

End of summer trip
We had two family’s each with their own 3 kiddos under 5. It was nice to have so much space and so many great memories made on the beach! perfect for an end of summer trip with family friends. 💕

Family Vacation
This place was amazing. It was very clean, comfortable and cozy. Spent a lot of time on the lake and exploring the area and collecting rocks. We didn't want to leave . Will definitely be back. Thank you for having us.

PURE Michigan Vacation!
This house and property are amazing! Super clean house, perfect layout and exceptional views of Lake Superior. Perfect location to Porcupine Mountains, many waterfalls, hiking trails and ORV trails. The private beach is perfect for watching the sunsets. Easy to communicate with the owner - very responsive. We look forward to coming back!

Beautiful new home & setting
House was brand new & very clean just as pictures showed. Stocked kitchen, comfortable beds & tastefully decorated. Views of the lake were beautiful & sunsets were gorgeous. Flies can be pretty pesky when the winds were out of the South so bring bug spray. Jason was very responsive with questions. Overall a lovely home for a quiet weekend away!

We had a great time! The house was lovely! We’d have loved some more storage (there weren’t any hangers or shelves/dressers. We also would have loved a pantry space to put our food for the week. That said, we loved it so much we already booked for next year! The location and layout of the property and house were just too awesome! Can’t wait for next year!!

End of Summer fun!
Our families enjoyed our stay at Lakeside Lookout! The open concept and layout of the home was great for our two families staying at the property. The wifi came in handy as cell coverage was very spotty, which was expected. Spent most of the week at the beach kids enjoyed the water, searching for rocks, sea glass, and "yooper stones". Bring your water shoes as the first 10ft have some good size rocks. Great location for trips to porcupine mountains for some hiking and close to Ontonagon shops if you forgot something. We will deffinetly rent again if in the area.

Superior Summer
I feel everyone that books a summer vacation, regardless of where, just wants it to be the perfect place, and a time they’ll remember forever. It doesn’t always work out that way… but sometimes it does. This is one of those places; perfect for us and our family and one place we’ll never forget. From Yooper light rock hunting on the shores of Lake Superior, to the the Lake of the Clouds, there’s a world of new experiences to have in the UP… great times start here.

Gorgeous home and location!
Jason responded quickly when I contacted him for check-in instructions, then again, for the WiFi password. The house was full of extras like soap/shampoo, laundry detergent, coffee, and extra toilet paper and sheets—we had to run to town for a lighter for the fire pit, but I can see where that would be difficult to keep at a rental house! One member of our group did lament the lack of an entry step handrail. Other than that, the beach, the location, and the home are all gorgeous and relaxing. Already talking about when we can head back!

I want my money back for cleaning!
Very nice house, aweson lake views. Only issue was that we paid for cleaning, and walked in and found nothing cleaned, washed...there was sand everywhere. We cleaned it ourselves, did all the bedding, towels, dishes and washed the floor. The next day we thought we were being broken into, turned out ot was the cleaning lady, arriving at 2pm a day late. Not cool to charge for zero service. Really want my cleaning fee refunded. Im guessing just a scheduling mistake, but I hate it when other peoples problems become mine, especially when I paid for it. Ron

Beautiful location
We greatly enjoyed our family’s getaway for a long weekend. We couldn’t have asked for better weather in September! The home is beautiful and very well maintained. We spent a lot of time on the beach - even taking some dips in Lake Superior. S’mores on the beach were extra delicious! Would highly recommend this VRBO. We may be back😊

Nice view of Lake Superior
The house is lovely. The picture is older so there is a lot of vegetation that has grown up between the house and the beach. There is a small path though down to the beach. There is no storage for clothes besides closets. The family/living room is spacious with a nice view of Lake Superior. And the location is great for all kinds of activities.

Beautiful place!
We so much enjoyed our stay here, the house was beautiful. Steps from the lake made it perfect! The hiking and the waterfalls were great. We will definitely plan another trip in the future, Jason was very nice and helpful with anything we needed.

Beautiful Home
We enjoyed being on the shore of Lake Superior. This was our first vacation with our adult children and new spouses! The home would easily accommodate 3 families. We loved the open floor plan and huge sectional couch! We cooked our meals most days in the well stocked kitchen and had nightly campfires with amazing views of the sunset. The porcupine mountains were the reason we chose this vacation spot. We had a great time. I would highly recommend this home for your next vacation!

South shore retreat
Truely relaxing and private location. Amazing sunsets, perfect view from lakeside fire pit or relaxing stroll on the beach. House is well planned out for groups but missing some extras : no beach toys, games or books but it’s a brand new place. Ideal location to porcupine mountains for hiking and waterfalls. Would rent again and bring more that 4 adults as it’s large enough for 2 families. Sandy beach with plenty of gravel for rock hounds. A great value.
