"A wonderful stay. The morning service at the temple was a profound experience. The introduction to zazen was great, though Japanese speakers will get most out of this - ditto the lecture before morning service. The meals were excellent, and everyone at the hotel was friendly and helpful. All together, this short stay was a true highlight of my month in Japan. "It was a lovely hotel. The village was so enjoyable and walkable. We loved the onsen!! Public onsen in the hotel so it was a little busy in the am but very quiet in the evening. "

"3/30に開催された「ふくい桜マラソン」に、夫と息子が出るために、前日から宿泊しました。とっても残念だったのは、ホテル側はそのことを分かっていたはずなのに、朝食はいつも通りの7時からで、スタートに間に合わないため、食べることができませんでした。マラソン需要で、高い宿泊代を払ったのにも関わらず、豪華な朝食を食べられ無かったのがとても心残りです。福井市が開催しているイベントなので、そのあたりの配慮が有った方が良いかと思います。"

"The hospitality was truly brilliant. We don’t speak Japanese and the staff were so helpful and patient. The breakfast and dinners were the best meals we have ever had.
