Waterfront 4BR- Private Pier, Kayaks, Fishing, Beautiful Sunrises and Sunsets!

The Harbor House is your own private paradise! 4 BR, 2 bath, 1850 Square Feet on 2.5 acres of total relaxation! Every bedroom has a water view! Enjoy private pier, huge deck, and amazing water views! Beautiful sunrises and sunsets, 5 kayaks and a canoe, bikes, fishing, corn hole, crabbing or just relax the day away. Close to beaches, Williamsburg, Yorktown, and Richmond. If you want to stay inside, curl up with a book or watch a favorite movie on our Smart TV or pop in a blue ray disc from our movie collection, all while still enjoying your water views.

The outside deck is HUGE with plenty of room for seating and enjoying the sun. When you are ready for adventure you are welcome to use the kayaks (there are 5 of them) and the canoe to enjoy the water. Our Harbor opens to the Chesapeake Bay to the east where you will enjoy beautiful sunrises as well as great sunsets to the west. There are also bikes, corn-hole Boards, a smash-ball set, and fishing and crabbing gear in the shed that you are welcome to use. Feel free to ride the bikes or take a relaxing walk on the 1 mile gravel road leading to the house.

The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for cooking and entertaining. If you want to stay inside, curl up with a nice book or watch a favorite movie on our Smart TV, Directv, or pop in a blue ray disc from our movie collection, all while still enjoying your water views. We even have fiber optic WIFI for all of your devices.

The location and fishing were great. Very nice house.very quiet. The house has smelly water that was not pleasant. The furniture in the living room needs to be replaced. But overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great Rental Home. Beautiful views of the water from the deck or dock to fish or go crabbing. Host gave us great information before our stay and had everything available for us to enjoy. Great Wifi too! Had a great time!

Wonderful Waterside Retreat
The view is absolutely beautiful. The home is very nicely decorated and included everything we needed plus more! We enjoyed our stay immensely! We were surrounded by wild life yet it was a short 10 minute drive to town. 5 stars! I highly recommend a stay at Harbor House.

Lovely house in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood, and the hosts are very accommodating. 5 minutes more or less from town that has grocery shopping, banks, a Post Office, and restaurants. The house was beautiful, clean, & had amazing views from just about every window. It's well stocked with fun things like kayaks, bikes, cornhole, books, toys & boardgames. And if you want to try your hand at catching & cooking your own crab dinner, you have everything you need to do that too! My friends & I had a wonderful stay here & I bet you will too!

Weekend Getaway
We rented this home for a quiet weekend with kids and friends. The property did not disappoint. The location is wonderful. We were able to take our toddler on her first canoe ride. It was overcast for us but there is no doubt you will have a beautiful view of the nighttime sky. We would definitely stay here again. The house was clean and well appointed. Amazing place!
This house was amazing, clean and had everything we needed. The rooms were spacious and beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was very well equipped and the shed had lots of equipment to have lots of fun. You could spend days here just fishing, crabbing and swimming or kayaking, which is what we did. The area is quiet and the children could run around and play football. The hosts were lovely and communicated very well before and stater our stay. We couldn’t have wished for anything more and would highly recommend this house.

Amazing, restful vacation on the water!
We had a wonderful time enjoying coffee on the deck with beautiful peaceful scenery, kayaking everyday, and crabbing right off the pier. A bug zapper kept us comfortable to be outside to enjoy sunset sipping on the pier gliders, lounging on the deck or enjoying cornhole in the yard. We also enjoyed the lical beaches and historic sites, including the oldest lighthouse on the Chesapeake Bay. They literally thought of everything so all we had to do was show up and enjoy this off-the-beaten path, small town vacation.

Amazing home with everything you need!
This home was perfect for our family of 7! The kitchen had everything I needed to cook and the kids loved being able to fish everyday and enjoy all the things outside. Our 5 year old loved the bunk room and the toys as well! The owners were great to work with whenever we had questions as well. We loved that it was away from all the busyness of the big cities but not too far for us to go and enjoy Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown. Thanks for opening your home to us for a great getaway!

Relaxing Family Thanksgiving Getaway
A little trouble finding the place in the dark, but what a lovely home and amazing views. Everything we needed to cook our Thanksgiving dinner and serve our family. We enjoyed crabbing (caught 4, but let them go :)). We went kayaking, even though it was a little cold. The Inlaws loved it too, they came down for dinner! We also made a bonfire and cooked s'mores. Thank you for sharing your home and for the wonderful memories. Would come again if we are in the area!

WONDERFUL WEEKEND GET AWAY
My family really enjoyed this weekend get away. My father is a avid fisherman but has been diagnosed with parkinsons this year and can no longer walk well, he was able to sit on the dock and fish all weekend and had such a relaxing time. He caught over 20 fish in just a few hours. My mom was able to watch him from the portch (for safety) while still enjoying relaxing and reading a book. We all had a great time and the host was extremely accomodating with a early check in and late check out.

Beautiful home and property!
We absolutely loved our stay! This house is beautiful, clean and more stocked than any rental I’ve ever stayed in. They have just thought of everything! The property is also stunning! We loved sitting out with coffee on the deck, watching bald eagles fly over! The kids loved catching crabs and fishing off of the dock too. We did have some bad weather one day and the owners called to check on us too. It’s small things like that act of kindness that really put this property over the top.

Quiet and Peaceful
I had a 4 day long weekend with three other members of my family. We loved the house, it was very comfortable and had something for everyone. My 83 year old mother in-law could still manage the steps out in front of the house and she loved the walk in shower with the railings. Close enough to other places. We went to Yorktown beach and Colonial Williamsburg while we were there. Would go back again and definitely recommend. Fun watching the crabs scurry around after a rain too.

Awesome!
My group travels to different states to go fishing and we rent homes. This home gets 5 Stars! We were in town for a two-day fishing trip and chose to rent this magnificent home. It has all the comforts of home and more. Well-appointed with all the necessary amenities, and with great views of the water. After long days of fishing, it was a pleasure to wind down and relax in such a comfortable, and peaceful setting. Wonderful!
I took my wife, 8-year old, and 80-year old mom, and this property was great for everyone! Very clean and comfortable furniture and beds. All very nice. But the highlight is the water- the photos are accurate. We used the crab traps on-site and caught 9 crabs! We also picked oysters off the shore and cooked them too! We tried fishing but didn’t catch any in our brief stay. The place is really well-stocked for enjoying the outdoors: fishing rods, float tubes, kayaks, life vests, etc. The little pond was also a safe, wading area for kids. A great place!
