"Great property, close to Nordic ski area. Perfect for our family, including the furry ones. Would love to visit when the lake is not frozen. Beautiful views even when snowy and icy. "

"We had a lovely time at this beautiful property. Comfortable, updated, quiet. There are no photos that show the steps down to the lake, which are quite steep, so it isn’t great for folks with mobility issues but is absolutely perfect for those without!"

"Great log cabin that has everything you possible need for a comfortable stay. Only a short 10min drive to Nordic Mountain which is a neat ski and tubing hill in winter. I can imagine it’s even nicer in summer as the house has direct lake access. We will be back!!!"

"Overall — the property had everything we needed. The fishing off the dock was GREAT, as one of us even caught a very large muskee right off of it! I do feel that the place looks a bit worse for wear, or hastily constructed, in a few areas (vinyl peeling off the ceiling of the outside porch, etc.,) but this didn’t affect the overall quality of our stay. My only suggestion would be a larger dining room table. Oh — and the host was SUPER responsive and SUPER helpful. 10/10 on that front!"

"Clean, well kept home close in proximity to Lawsonia and Mascoutin."

"The cottage was perfect for our golf vacation. Everything was very clean. The check in process was very easy. Close to a restaurant and golf courses."

"I needed a place to get away and reflect, and Kalbus cottage was perfect for me. Bed was comfortable, amenities were exactly as described, but must of all, it has a peaceful view. I was able to reflect and just be at peace the entire time."

"We had a wonderful stay! Cabin is really nice. Very clean, well furnished and super cute. Location is great - just steps away from restaurants and the boat launch. The large pier made it so easy to dock our boat for the weekend. Fred was very quick to respond to questions and so accommodating. We look forward to our next visit!"

"This is a very beautiful cabin, well stocked and nicely decorated. Even firewood. Had plenty of hangout areas, we never felt like we were on top of each other. The game room was secluded to not interrupt others playing games or watching tv on main level. We"

"We were looking for a place for our extended family to spread out and relax. What a treat to enjoy a fire in the fireplace and play games at a large table with an awesome view. Our winter wonderland was a bit spoiled by rain but we had plenty of space so we didn’t get stir crazy. Bonus - a Christmas tree and other decorations."

"Our stay at Escape on Little Green Lake was wonderful. It's a beautiful home with so much room for many. We enjoyed 4 bedrooms with very comfortable beds, 3 1/2 clean bathrooms and a spacious living area that over looked the lake. "This is our second time staying at this property to celebrate Christmas with our kids and grandkids. We especially enjoy the large finished basement where are kids can play board games. The hot tub is an added plus for the adults! I would like to point out a couple of maintenance issues that could be addressed for the next family - the dvd player in the first floor living area does not work, the kitchen oven doesn't maintain an even cooking temperature - had to double cook times when using. ...
