Haven in Midtown's Historic Morton Meadows

Family owned and operated. We take care of you! Unique 1925 home located in the historic Morton Meadows neighborhood of Midtown Omaha. Our comfortable, cozy house features plenty of room to relax, with original hardwood floors, and 13-foot, exposed wood living room ceiling. The Spanish/mission revival style is highlighted by a unique floor-to-ceiling fireplace. You will feel right at home.

3 Queen-sized beds! Two queens and full bath on the main floor, plus a lower level queen bed with it's own Roku TV, desk, and half bath. Ample dining and living rooms make it perfect for couples, families, and professionals working remotely. Hang out in the spacious backyard with gas grill and outdoor seating for spring, summer, and fall enjoyment or have your morning coffee on the front porch in tree-lined tranquility.

This safe, upscale neighborhood is a short distance from the Blackstone District and Midtown Crossing shops, restaurants, and outdoor spaces. Only 10 minutes to downtown and the Old Market. The neighborhood is home to the University of Nebraska Medical Center, and the nearby entertainment and dining offerings of Aksarben Village. Just minutes from Baxter Arena to the west and Creighton University to the east.

The individual booking the property MUST be a guest during the entire stay. Booking for guests other than yourself is not permitted. Stays of more than two weeks must be approved in advance.

Adorable Home & Very Helpful Owner
This house was perfect for our family of four! It was in a quaint, safe neighborhood and within 10 minutes of all of Omaha’s biggest attractions. The owner, Mary, was incredibly helpful, giving us info on local restaurants and sights suited to teenagers. The home itself was clean and had all the basic necessities. We would stay here again if we ever find ourselves back in Omaha!

PERFECT LOCATION!
This was the PERFECT location for all things OMAHA! The neighborhood is a bonus, just driving around looking at all the vintage unique houses was a pleasure and the inside of the home itself was gorgeous. Great stay!
We had a really great time at this nice and interesting home. It was fun looking at all the unique features. The neighborhood was really nice and close to downtown and to Offutt AFB. Communication with Mary started immediately as I asked questions before booking, as time got close and throughout our stay. She is super nice!! We would definitely stay here again.

Nice clean historical home in quaint neighborhood
We were attending the College World Series and needed more space than provided by a typical hotel room. We had three adults and one child in our group. This home was just what we needed. It was only 10 minutes from TD Ameritrade Park and was located in a quiet but beautiful historical neighborhood.

We stayed for a girls' weekend. For an older house, the A/C worked great, meaning no difference from anywhere else. The house was very clean. Really nice quiet neighborhood. Maybe $13 Lyft ride from Old Market area.

Very Nice
The house was very clean and well stocked. The water pressure in the shower was good but the shower head is low. If you’re very tall you won’t be able to stand under it. The owner checked in with us during our stay so I felt they would be responsive if we had an issue. The location was convenient to the activities we had planned. Would stay again if we return to Omaha.

Great neighborhood, excellent value
The house is super cute and in a quaint and safe neighborhood. We had 2 kids with us, so the basement with the TV and game table worked great for us. The owner was nice, answered any questions, gave local suggestions, and always responded in a fast manner. Only 2 complaints: a small one is that the outdoor patio table looked so inviting and we planned to eat dinner out there every night, but the AC unit is right by the table and made it hard to enjoy the outdoors and hear each other. The smaller table out front was nice and had good shade cover from a tree right by the porch. The only other (bigger) complaint is that the shower was pretty bad. The pressure was just very poor. However, for the price and location, it was worth it and we'd stay again.

The house was wonderful and the neighborhood cannot be beat.
My college roommate and I spent three nights here. The house is great. It is in a quiet neighborhood that is close to pretty much everything in central and downtown Omaha. The best part about the experience was dealing with Mary who co-owns with her sister. If I had an issue, I texted. She texted to check on us and ask if we needed anything on an almost daily basis. The only “problem” was when neither he nor I could figure out the Roku TV. Not the tv or owners fault. We are both 59 and not great with stuff like that. Mary was gracious at every turn and made us feel welcome. I do not believe you can go wrong with this house!

My mom and I stayed for almost 3 weeks while I was having surgery done. The host was more than accommodating, made sure we were provided with all of the comforts of home, and checked in with us to make sure we were having a great stay!
