"We took this trip since we have a hunting lease nearby and wanted to stay in comfort. The house is absolutely beautiful, from the inside out. The view of the lake when the sun goes down is stunning. Martha was a wonderful host, is she very response, very kind, and the house is stocked with everything you could need. "A very nice, quiet, location on a hilltop with a view. Our goal was to go birdwatching at the refuge and this was conveniently located to that as well as easy to get downtown for shopping and restaurants. For us, birding on the property was also enjoyable. Just the type of place we love to stay. Everything inside was clean, cozy and well decorated, even some homey Christmas decorations. The host’s artwork is on the walls and it complements the lake are beautifully. "
