Rainier room, providing an airy and open atmosphere perfect for relaxing after a long day.

We are less than two and a half miles from the state capitol building and campus, as well as all the attractions that downtown Olympia has to offer, including access to Puget Sound along Percival Landing Park, restaurants, shops, and much more.
We take pride in providing our guests with a clean and comfortable home away from home, and we look forward to hosting you during your stay in Olympia, WA!
Guest Access:
We would like our guests to be aware that the house behind their accommodation is occupied by their hosts part-time and is seasonally offered as another short-term rental. Although the units are attached, rest assured that your space is 100% private with no shared areas. The entire fenced front and side yards are exclusively yours to enjoy during your stay! Our goal is to make your visit as comfortable and relaxing as possible while respecting your privacy.
The Neighborhood:
Tucked away in the Indian Creek Neighborhood, our house offers the best of both worlds: the convenience of being minutes from downtown Olympia and the tranquility of feeling like you're on the town's edge. Situated on a quiet, dead-end road with minimal traffic, our location promises serene walks and peaceful moments. Just steps away, you'll find multiple entrances to the Woodland Creek Trail—a lush, picturesque path that meanders alongside Indian Creek, inviting you to explore the natural beauty of the area.
Getting Around:
While The Trail House is conveniently located minutes from downtown Olympia, guests should note that essentials like groceries and dining options require a short drive, given the house is just a tad beyond comfortable walking distance. However, for those who love to bike or enjoy a leisurely stroll, the Woodland Creek Trail offers a scenic route connecting to several main roads, making many attractions and necessities accessible on foot or by bicycle. This unique blend of seclusion and accessibility ensures that whether you're venturing out for supplies or exploring the area's natural beauty, you're perfectly positioned to enjoy the best of both worlds.
Other Things to Note:
We are delighted to welcome up to 2 well-behaved dogs at our dog-friendly home. Please note that no other animals are allowed without specific host approval. Dogs should not be left alone at any time unless they are crate trained and can remain inside the crate without causing noise disturbances. We do charge a small pet fee to cover the cost of additional cleaning; however, this fee is not meant to cover any damage caused by guests' dogs. In the event of any damage, a separate charge will be applied to cover the cost of repairing or replacing the affected items.
Speaking of pets, we have three lovable furry friends of our own. Amber Rose is an incredibly affectionate chocolate lab, and you might see us strolling by during our evening walks. Khaleesi (also known as Chica) and Reny are our adorable long-haired teacup chihuahuas. You probably won't see them, as they're not fans of going on walks. Rest assured, our pets are well-behaved and won't interfere with your stay, but do feel free to give Amber Rose a friendly pat if you happen to cross paths!
Interaction with Guests:
At our property, we strive to achieve the perfect balance between providing our guests with the privacy they desire while remaining accessible for any questions or needs that may arise. We respect your space and ensure that your stay is as comfortable as possible. However, if you have any inquiries, require assistance, or simply want some local tips and recommendations, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. We're always more than happy to help make your stay a memorable and enjoyable experience.
