"We had an amazing stay at Dog Creek Lodge! It was our first family reunion since the pandemic...we had 20 adults and 8 children stay on property. Accommodations were perfect for our group, spacious with numerous large gathering areas, a huge kitchen, fun game room, the lake with kayaks, canoes available, a fire pit, the cafe/catering options for outside food nearby and a fantastic helpful staff. "This is a much more rustic place to stay than what is advertised. The cabins are basically plywood boxes with bunkbeds. The linens had not been changed prior to our stay and the outhouses were FOUL. No power or lights in the cabin either. The location is fabulous, the lake beautiful and the camp host very friendly. It sounds like he's all alone, no one to help him with cleaning or maintaining which was very apparent."
