"It was our 1st time in Aix-en-Provence, and we didn't know what to expect regarding the city and moving around. We searched for a clean place with a kitchenette and parking facilities, so we could drive to different places. This hotel is not centric to the city, as it would take about 10-15 minutes driving by some backroads to get to the center of Aix and then finding a parking garage nearby. Rooms are kind of small. There is not an elevator, so the luggage has to be lifted through the stairs....

"This was a great location for our trip around Aix en Provence. Super friendly and helpful staff, we only communicated online and with the check in being so easy, we felt at home right away. My partner and I stayed for a weekend to travel to Marseille and local areas, we had a hire car so the parking availability was perfect. In the end we really appreciated the value of this stay and the quiet location where it was. The room was everything we needed for our weekend adventure, somewhere to relax...

"An excellent location in the heart of the historic precinct. Perfect to self cater or have a base from which to pop out and explore - any time of day or night. As an affordable, friendly option with all the facilities ond needs - I highly recommend Catherine Studios. I will return. "

"Aix-en-provence is a lively and picture-esque city that has a very walkable downtown. The hotel was just the right distance from the touristy area to be quiet but still have great access to everything. The hotel is a little older and could use some new furniture, but is quite clean and in what seemed to be a very safe area. Overall I would say it was a fairly good value."

"Turns out they were closed on the day of our checkin which we were not aware of. We tried to call and no one answered. We finally got a number for emergencies and he gave us the code to the safe with our key. When we got to the place they had not prepared at all. The beds were not made, there was no soap or cleaning items to towels yet checkout required us to wash dishes. The electricity was also off so we had to find the electrical box. "Beautiful property with attentive and friendly staff. I got engaged here and it was absolutely gorgeous. The room overlooked the courtyard and the grapevine field behind it. I never needed anything because the experience was so well thought out. Plus it is close to aix-en Provence which was nice if you want to go into town. My literal only began is that we weren’t fans of the restaurants for the price. We are Americans and my fiance is pretty picky, so it could be cultural differences or personal preferences. Overall this place was absolutely stunning. It felt like a dream and was easily in my top best hotel stays. Every detail was perfect from the comfort of the bed to the softness of the towels. Everything was luxurious and I highly recommend staying here. "

"The hotel was great. The room was big and nice, everything was super clean, the staff very friendly, and breakfast was very complete. Parking was very easy, in a garage that’s like one block away from the hotel, and which you pay for at the reception when you check out. The spa was also very complete and very fun. Finally, the location is perfect. You can walk around the city and reach anywhere in a few minutes. Would definitely stay again."
