"This was a hidden gem of a resort with a perfect location. Unlike a traditional hotel, this hotel is spread out with beautiful grounds and scenic views in all directions. The architecture and decor is in keeping with the surrounding countryside with clean and well kept rooms. The breakfast was delicious with multiple choices for various dietary preferences. It is literally a 5 minute walk from the train station for quick and easy access to many restaurants and attractions. I highly recommend this place over many pricier hotels and would definitely stay here again. "

"It's not a fancy hotel and the "Deluxe" rooms on the upper floor with access to the roof terrace are substantiallly better than the standard rooms. So look out for that. The views from the roof terrace are magnificent and it's worth staying at Intitambo just for that. The staff is wonderful. The hotel is right in the old Inka center of tower. With pedestrian only street which is charming but there are roosters houses in the yards of the local houses and it's a real problem. They can start at 3:00 am. Not sure what can be done about that. Bring earplugs. Olantaytambo is a wonderful old town very much original to its Inka roots and the archeology site is more intended much more accessible than Macchu Picchu in my opinion. sun"
