"Nice apartment - at the top of Manarola so be prepared to walk up hill. The photos of the apartment show a nice deck with chairs - which was the main reason we chose to rent here - unfortunately, there is no deck at all. Pretty view of the ocean and village if you lean out the windows, but no outdoor space at all. That was pretty disappointing. Everything worked in the place and it was clean."

"I get the feeling the owners have just bought this house & are just starting to rent it out. It seems they have upgraded some parts of the apartment but others are old i.e. the kitchen doors look new, but the carcasses are very old. The lounge felt like it was missing a tv. There was a sofa for 2 facing a wall, with your back to the views of the hills, which felt odd. Personally, when I book an apartment for 4 people I expect 4 people to comfortably be able to sit in the lounge at the same...

Every room in this house is designed with so much attention to detail and taste that you feel at home from the very first second. We were very happy to spend a week there and we felt at ease from the very first second. And Mariangela is a great host, who gave us a warm welcome and valuable tips. Molte grazie!"

"Unfortunately the host only contacted us 1 hour before check in to announce that there wasn't space in the hotel for us. They did arrange an alternative hotel 5 miles away but we did not have a car so it was a bit stressful organising alternative public transport there. "Our stay at Casa del Borgo was pleasant. We had good communication w/host as very responsive. We did not realize how remote the air b n b was, but it made for a private cozy getaway. Renata left great suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. she even made dinner reservations for us!
