"This was a fun alternative to a traditional hotel. And we got to see the chickens they have on site! The room was spotless and the staff were very nice. There are two routes to the property if you are walking, one much easier than the other (when you get off the ferry, turn left). The breakfast was good but not as exceptional as we were expecting."

"This is a one of a kind experience in North Italy. The history behind this hotel and restaurant goes back 4 generations, and the hospitality is rooted in their ways. Combine that with food that is grown by themselves, including cheese, wine, meats, and pasta, creates a great experience. The food warms your soul and nourishes your body. "Positives were that is was very quaint, beautiful view from balcony, excellent bed, and excellent food. Negatives were bees in the room and narrow roads to get up the mountain. It is located in the mountains about 15 minutes from Lake Como."

"First, be aware that you need to follow ALL of the signs that say, “Runchee.” Your GPS/Apple Maps/Google maps will NOT take you to the hotel/B&B. Parking is easy. Find the place is not. Breakfast: if your idea of breakfast is bread and butter, coffee and cake, then you’re in business. Don’t expect a real meal. I paid in advance and the lady running the place chased me down to pay for my stay. Mistakes happen."

"This place is amazing! The perfect place to sleep in the mountains. Trust your good GPS and you’ll find it, really worth it. We were welcomed and guided by Agostino. It was a pleasure to eat a great breakfast with all local, farm-grown products! Such a nice experience for my kids that enjoyed this place w/o TV. Fam. rooms are comfortable, cute, clean on top of that you have WiFi. I definitely recommend this place so much!"
