Cons: (1) the property is on a hill - you have to take at least two flights of stairs (not in the pictures) outside the house to get to the entrance, and then there is a colorful long flight of stairs inside the house (in the pictures). So be prepared if traveling...

"If you want an Italian experience then this is the place. The beautiful period property was perfect for us, comfortable, well air conditioned, extremely spacious and very clean. The lovely family who own the property made us feel most welcome and helped us with information about the area and facilities. Especially listen out for the very talented piano playing.  We spent many relaxing hours around the pool and in the large garden, which was the best part of our week stay. We never got to visit...

The onlt ding was not getting check-in info until the day before, however being in Tuscany and Rome before going to Maori, i could have missed it. All other communications were great. "For the most part the apartment was clean and the bed was comfortable. The apartment has plenty of storage. The entire building is under construction and lots of dirt from the outside gets inside. The noise from the construction starting at 7-8 am on most days was very disturbing. There were days that jack hammers were used right outside the door. In addition, the traffic and people talking outside the window sometimes until 1am, made it difficult to sleep. I had to wear ear plugs to fall...
