"Great little hotel in the centre of the Old Town right on the square. A little noisy at night on the weekends as people exit bars, but that’s to be expected. There was a lot of street construction going on all over Old Town unfortunately, but it was fine. The private living room type lounge was really nice to have to pop in for a coffee or a drink, and the breakfast room was lovely. Beautiful breakfast each day and the staff was so lovely!"

"Good hotel overall. I did not find the stuff being too “welcoming “. Very convenient location. Almost next door to the main Zurich train station which made travel to other cities very easy. The room was small but that typical for an European hotels. One thing to be aware is that the rooms which are in the back of the hotel are facing a construction site. The start at 7 am. And some times the noises is substantial. The hidden gem of the hotel is the bar. There was always live music. "

"We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this lovely hotel in its perfect location. The staff were so helpful and breakfast was very good. The only downside is the noise at night coming from local bars but that is the price you pay for a city centre location and absolutely no fault of the hotel. "

"Altstadt hotel is in a really convenient spot in Zurich!! There is construction going on, on that street though which can be loud as cars pass by. Again very convenient though. Very nice rooms and bathroom! Has an elevator as well."

"Staff at Hotel Rössli were friendly and helpful, room was clean and to a very high standard. Breakfast was fresh and tasty, staff at breakfast were helpful. Very central location for old town, making it an excellent base for walking around. Would recommend this hotel if you're staying in Zurich."

"Helmhaus Boutique Hotel is at the heart of Old Town Zurich by the World Famous Limmatquai. Very closed to everything you need to see around Zurich. Nearby there is a lot of small shops and across the River is the famous Bahnofstrasse also Zurich Hautbahnhoff or Central Station is within a walking distance.if not you can take the very efficient Suisse Tram nearby-Helmhaus Station.
