"I would definitely book again!! Me and my guy just stayed there. I do not understand the awful reviews. First..it’s a 1 star hotel so know what you’re getting into. Our room had a bathroom, which we booked for so I was a bit surprised when they What’s App to say that they changed our room so we got one with bathroom. I’d check in with them via What’s App just to confirm what room was booked. They always promptly respond. Anne was beyond gracious!! Our breakfast every morning was stellar! She’s such a sweetheart!! She offered to do our laundry! So accommodating. Our room was so central we couldn’t be more happy. We stayed on the opposite last time so we enjoyed being in the thick of things. The room was no frill and clean. Noise wasn’t an issue. Yes it’s noisy but what isn’t there? Do you know what year those buildings were built? Bring earplugs! Thank you Anne!! I hope your arm heals well and it was an absolute please at your pension! "

"The hotel is very cute and pretty. The staff was extremely helpful. They helped us booked a reservation at one of the nearby restaurants. The location is amazing as you are steps away from all the bars and pintxo places. There is a church right across the street. Our room opened to the view of the church. The church bells do ring every 15 minutes, but only starts at 8am to 11pm (or around then). The closed windows will still let the church bell sounds in, but it does do a good job blocking out all the crowd noises. My wife and I absolutely loved this hotel and San Sebastian in general!"
