"The time I checked in to the first room, the switch in the room doesn’t work, there is only light in the bathroom. Then they change me to another room, and this room had a horrible smell like something died there. The front desk lady said the sewer was backed up in that room, and she apologized so she gave me another room. "Mon séjour s'est globalement bien passé. Mais quelques remarques faites ce matin à la réception avant mon départ: - je suis resté 2 nuits et ma chambre n'était pas faite: lit pas fait et sdb pas nettoyée. - pouvez vous mettre des tampons sous les chaises qui sont très bruyantes dans les chambres et salle de petit déjuener? - les assiettes du petit dejéuner sont trop petites. il serait intéressant de proposer 2 formats"

"This hotel is in an old abbey that is being renovated. Guests are encouraged to check it out. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Many have a small sitting room with the bed and bath upstairs in a loft. A word of caution, the stairs are somewhat narrow The staff was friendly and helpful and had suggestions for dining and looking around "

Easy access from motorway, easy parking ( if the area immediately in front of the hotel is full, go back out onto the road and there’s another area just to the side ), friendly reception, clean comfortable room, good wifi, good breakfast and a free drink when we arrived. It’s a slightly quirky style - industrial concrete - which sounds awful but actually works rather well.
