"I liked it a lot. No complaints really. It's beautiful. The house was clean and very close to the beach and Gils Restaurant. The only complaint was that we could not watch TV much in the evenings because the connection was not the best. Every time we watched a movie, it would lose connectivity, and we never did get see a whole movie. But other than that, we had a fabulous time."

The property is comfortable, Sylvia and Sharon are friendly and helpful hosts, and we do so enjoy Ferndale's Victorian and agricultural ambiance. And of course, there are the books! "I guess we're still connected to the Windrose but we actually stayed at Lufenholtz Surfside and the view was amazing. The cabin was clean and comfortable for but I think might be a little cramped with more than two people though the separate bed and half bath might work well for some groups. The deck was wonderful to hang out on and the hot tub another bonus "

"Snug Harbor was a cute cottage that made a great home base for our family of 6 to explore the Redwoods. Our kids loved the badminton and ping pong in the yard and I loved the peaceful ocean view and sounds, especially in the early mornings. The gardens were amazing and Beth even had fresh cut flowers waiting for us. "

"Everything was great except the shower in the bedroom with the TV was slow to drain and it was very slippery while taking a shower. Other than that, it is a very nice place to stay."

"The outside is misleading because once you enter the property you are easily impressed. The property is spacious with lots of windows that let in plenty of sunlight. The pool is an unexpected treat. We really enjoyed the pool and walking to town."

"Wonderful view of Trinidad Bay, the Head etc. Large living room, big deck. Comfy seating in living room. This is an older house, smells of mold/musty. I didn't get used to it tho it didn't bother my husband. Even the front door is moldy, not very welcoming. Plus the shredding wallpaper at the front entrance. Also the blankets need washing. Sheets were clean but everything else needs washing. I left a note for the cleaners not that they can do anything about the mold. "
