"What a fantastic place to stay. The house has rustic charm and everything you need. It felt like a real kiwi holiday in a magical spot. The beach is right there. Great surf casting, lots of snapper and gurnard caught. Beautiful sunsets. The maze is a must to do, the views up there are spectacular."

"We stayed at Cam's and Dee's place for one night on our trip from Christchurch to Abel Tasman. This place and the people are just awesome.The place offers everything we wanted, outdoor kitchen with a view, fireplace, outside dining area, beautiful outside shower & toilet, and of course the bus - with all the woodwork inside and so much personality to it.Cam is a lovely host - a real Kiwi, loves a good chat and is so willing to help! As we wanted to use the fireplace, he just provided all the wood and a full set of cast irons to get us going!No doubt it was all clean and tidy and the comms were super easy!My partner and I would have loved to stay there some more nights - we definitly recommend this place and would come back!"

"Our family was at Bamboo Bungalow over the holidays and we LOVED our time there. The outdoor garden, patio and wood fired oven really made our time enjoyable. We even made some home made pizzas. The indoor area with large folding doors that open to the patio make you feel one with nature and the outdoors. Inside it was beautifully decorated and we had everything we needed. The living room was a great gathering spot for our family and the views out the window made it even better.It's remote which we loved, but do remember to bring your water and any food you might need as once you arrive, you won't really want to leave. We highly recommend this special spot and the owners were great hosts and very responsive."
