Dingy, stained carpet in hallways & in the room we rented. Missing dishes, broken cabinet handle. We had a 2 y/o & the person below us made 2 complaints against us stating it sounded like we had numerous kids in our room. We offered to move to a downstairs room. We were instead told if there was another complaint from the people below us, we would be asked to leave. The front desk worker was talking to us at least 5 mins w/our door opened. 0 noise from our 2 y/o who was on a bed, but the TV was on. We turned the tv off. So, why threaten to kick us out? We all know if a 2 y/o is sounding like multiple kids, they would continue all of the noise regardless of someone knocking on the door. In advance, we made the property aware that we had a 2 y/o & 7 y/o. If the walls & floors are that poorly insulated w/zero noise barrier, this is not the place for a family to rent or families should be given a room on the 1st floor.
