We came to OKC for a barrel race and it was close to the fair grounds, quiet neighborhood, clean house. It is a little tight for a truck but we made it work. The houses are close together, but we didn’t have any trouble with the neighbors.
I was in search of a comfortable place to lay my head after long hours working a local art festival. This was just right, clean and comfortable. Comfy bed too. I’ll see if it’s available next time for the art festival.
Great house in a cute, walkable neighborhood. Very comfortable stay for us and our dog. Had everything we needed and was just minutes to downtown. Would def stay again.
Clean, great location, quiet safe neighborhood. This was a very clean cute 2 bedroom home that was perfect for our stay. We had an event at the Fairfrounds and this was just a few blocks away. It was 10 min drive to bricktown.
My daughter and I were in OKC for a tournament. Jimmey was a wonderful host—very helpful and attentive. This home is adorably decorated, well appointed and very clean. It’s a great location with easy access to the highway. Should our travels bring us back, we will definitely try to stay here. 10/10!
Enjoyed staying near Midtown area of OKC with interesting activities and restaurants. Home was immaculate and owner responded quickly to questions. Comfortable seating area and table large enough for six to eat and play games.
This place is a good value for the price. I didn’t really know much about the neighborhood so I wasn’t sure if it was safe to be out and about walking around. It’s not very close to downtown, but is comparable in pricing to a hotel and you get a much bigger space. My husband walked to Sabor de La Baja and very much enjoyed the ceviche.
Took my 2 boys and dog for a quick getaway from DFW. It was lovely being able to have a fenced yard for my pup. The house was beautiful, beds were comfy, place was quiet. Kitchen had everything we needed! JG checked on us a couple times. Would absolutely stay again.
Cute little 2 Bed//1 bath home.
Very handy location beside State Fair Park.
Beautiful home inside. We didn’t need or use the outside space during our stay.
Great little house for a weekend or longer stay with all the amenities needed. Close to the city and major highways. Easy check-in/check-out and communication.
This house was adorable, clean, and had everything we needed, including a stocked coffee bar, snack basket, and shampoo/conditioner/body wash. The couch was perfect to lounge around at the end of the day. The only drawback was the neighborhood, which made me wish our husbands were there. BUT for our girls weekend it was near perfect. Would definitely book from this host again.
Looking for a property close to Fairgrounds-this is it!
This property is literally 4 blocks from the Fairgrounds. The neighborhood is well kept and houses are a bit larger. The property itself was immaculate! In fact I would like to hire the decorator/remodeler to come renovate my own house. All properties tell you they provide all essentials but this one really does. The kitchen was stocked with all the right equipment and even had foil and ziplock bags. These are two items that most VRBOs forget about. Excellent stay and will definitely be booking again. Thank you.
We stayed in this location to be close to our son who lives a mile away. We close this property because of the amount of comfortable seating in living area and the table that seats six people easily. We play games in the evenings with our son and family (all adults) and the table is perfect for game playing. We are disappointed that the water leak we discovered in December has not been fixed and the dishwasher is temperamental. We were able to make it work one time but not when we were ready to leave.we only used the King bed and found it very comfortable and quiet. We would love to stay here again if the water leak AJ and the dishwasher are fixed. Thanks!
Beds were not clean, bodily fluids/stains on sheets and mattress cover. After reaching out to the owner, no solution was offered other than he would contact the cleaning crew. Who would want to sleep on beds that were obviously not cleaned. The kitchen, dining room, bathroom and couch were all great! The neighborhood/area was little rough. Two blocks around the corner was a very large homeless community/night shelter. Wouldn’t recommend this house to someone with small children.
We drove to OKC to attend the graduation ceremony of our granddaughter from OU. Having no idea how quickly Norman area hotels would sell out and how expensive other alternatives would be near OU, we opted for this clean and comfortable 2-Br remodeled mid-century home 30 min away from Norman. We were very happy with our choice “overall.” Despite the home not having a security system, we felt safe with no security concerns. We do offer a point of caution for older travelers like ourselves, and an additional point for those traveling with pets. I’m 75 and my wife is on her 60’s. We both have short legs and found the concrete doorsteps to be steep and the steps abnormally high. Although there is handrails on the front steps, there were none on the back door off the kitchen. I almost fell down them. While there is a back yard to take your pets, you cannot access it from the house. I found the backyard overgrown and scary to enter at night, and had to keep both my dogs on a leash the one evening I took them back there to avoid them running into the underbrush. That said, I simply chose to let them go in the front yard each time they went outside. But that did necessitate keeping them on a leash each time they went to the bathroom. That meant a lot more times up and down those steep steps that I would have preferred. These are not issues that will concern most young people or taller people. Overall, we enjoyed staying there for comfort, amenities and value.
