"We had stayed here before and based on that experience I didn’t consider booking anywhere else. The location is about a 5 - 10 minute walk from Okayama station, just turn right at the canal. Rooms are comfortable, quiet and have a window that opens sufficiently for some fresh air. The breakfast is simply outstanding. Sadly, we only found out on our departure day that the restaurant is also open for lunch. Okayama is a lovely city and perhaps overlooked as a destination. Hiroshima, Osaka, Kyoto are easily accessible as is the island of Naoshima. The city is very walkable and the Okayama Korakuen (garden) is worth visiting. The canal walk is lovely."

"This is a very large chain of hotels throughout Japan with accommodations of differing categories such as Express and Premium. If you stayed in one, you know pretty much what to expect in others. These are comfortable. The staff is polite and they are great value. The breakfast was very good with lots of choices and the spa very nice as well. I would stay here again. It's located just a few minutes walking from the Okayama JR station. And, it's a 25 minute walk to the Garden and Castle. Also, it's very close to many restaurants. Recommended."
