perfect for a quiet weekend away
"my husband and i stayed at naankuse lodge for 3 nights at the tail end of our trip that spanned south africa, botswana, zambia and zimbabwe. we wanted a couple days to just relax after a 3 week group safari tour that was constantly on the go. we are glad we came to naankuse as it was a slower pace, allowing us to sleep in, do 2 excursions a day, and walk the property at our leisure without being on a true schedule. it also allowed us to just sit on the porch and relax, talk, taking in nature. we stayed in one of the huts that was within walking distance to the main lodge. it was fine for a couple, was clean, had a private porch but probably not for a family or traveling with another couple because it has an open shower, meaning the shower is not enclosed, its smack in the middle of the room. otherwise - would recommend. the guides for our excursions had alot of experience and knowledge, and were great to talk to."
