"The hotel and staff are fantastic and we had a wonderful time. But I am unhappy with the $1000 deposit required at check in. First I find it far too high and second the process to refund it was very strange. At check in they charged my credit card $1000 and then at check out they said they had to run it again for another $1000 before they could refund the original $1000. None of this made any sense to me and I was left with two $1000 receipts and only one showing a refund of $1000. I don't...

"This property was close to the beach and pool and had everything needed for a pleasant stay. The condo was roomy and well stocked. We would come again."

"A wonderful place to disappear with your family and have one of the best experiences together. Great places to go out to dinner, has a good market to buy snacks for food during the day, friendly neighbors, and lastly an amazing beach to surf at. Felt very safe. The house was comfortable, cool, and convenient. Will come again!! "

"Hotel Posada Destiladeros is an undiscovered gem on the Azuela Peninsula! I enjoyed a rejuvenating 3 day stay in the Vietnam room, overlooking deserted Ocean beaches. A professional chef prepared meals with ingredients sourced locally - including fish and seafood. I watched the sunrise and sunset from my deck and walked on beaches during the day. Muy tranquilo."
