"This was a perfect stay for my Echigo-tsumari triennale trip. The inn keeper was professional and responsible. The breakfast was incredibly delicious! And the bathroom was so clean!"

Even despite my rather broken Japanese, they were willing to work through it and help my wife and I through anything we needed (such as getting our room, taxi service, daily necessities, etc.) Also, there is an enourmous grocery store right next to it that is so, so much fun to explore and is also full of super helpful staff and curious townsfolk."

At the time of the check in and check out there was nobody... for check in we need to call someone, and upon check out.. we waited, and because nobody was there we did the check out with a machine and we didnt know where to leave the plastic card cover... that we left it on the desk."

"The property is located in a convenient location with lots of dining options. There is busy night life in the neighbourhood which may feel dodgy to walk solo at night but Japan is a very safe country as a whole. Rooms are small but clean. We booked separate rooms for each of us and the prices were very reasonable. The rooms were newly refurbished and very clean. Staff was courteous and helpful. Public parking was available within a short walk. All in all, a comfortable quick stop on a road trip. "

"Classic modern Japanese Inn with shared bathrooms and onsen, tatami rooms with Japanese bedding. No mens room on the 2nd floor. No staff, check-in and out automated. Basic facilities but all working order. Clean and Good location for exploring Yuzawa area, if you are comfortable with Japanese style travel."
