"Good location near Station can walk undercover to it. We are 70 but got allocated a room at the furthest end of a very long corridor far away from the only lift maybe as weren't members of Toyoko Hotel chain (maybe more thought from staff re that but could just be the auto computer allocation?) Breakfast was included but when we went down it was so packed with people there were not enough seats too small a dining room so skipped it & bought sandwiches at 7-11. "I booked this hotel at a pretty good value. I wasn't expecting much, but if this was the price range of Daiwa hotels in other Prefectures, and if the quality is consistent then I'd definitely keep booking! First of all, the hotel seems pretty new, or at least recently renovated. Interiors are modern & up to date. Staff are friendly & helpful. "I was totally impressed by the varieties available at the buffet breakfast. Since my stay was for 1 day only, able to try all types of local delights was certainly a treat. Akita's folk songs were played to enhance the ambiance, I enjoyed with my ears while filling up my dummy happily."

"Excellent location. This is a small hotel surrounded by restaurants, cafés, etc. As it was a tatami room, I was expecting the possibility of musky odor, but thankfully there was none! 😊 Room was just right for 3 people max. The futon was soft & comfy & warm despite the crazy Akita winter (personally it was too warm, I was sweating. 😂) The only con is, because we left the window slightly ajar for air flow, we could hear the very loud & obnoxious laugh from another guest's room (I think?)...

"Nice hotel, interesting area with lots of amenities nearby. About 25 minutes walk from the JR station. Close to the bar and restaurant district. Not much English spoken by staff."

"I like the hotel. Very clean and cosy. Their workers were all friendly, polite and nice. Very satisfied. Only thing I would ask for would be the lotion. I wish they had little lotion packs included in their aminity. Weather is dry now, so I went out to get mine, but if they had in the bathroom, that would have been nice. 😊"

"The price of our room was twice as expensive as similar hot spring hotels. That was because our room had its own private hot spring bath, which would have been wonderful, but the bath's size was even smaller than ours at home, and because of that we didn't want to use it."

"I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel even though it was one of the cheaper options on my trip, and a simple room. Staff were so friendly and helpful. 5 minutes walk from station (look to the right at front of station for the giant green "G"). 2 convenience stores and one supermarket within 2 blocks. Super quiet area. Handy to access Shinkansen and travel to tourist areas. I would happily stay here again!"
