"Man merkt es handelt sich um ein älteres Gebäude, welche renoviert wurde. Das Zimmer inkl. Badezimmer war eiskalt und hat sich auch nicht richtig erwärmt. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis war in meinen Augen nicht gegeben."

"Our check in was easy and we were shown to our apartment and where to park our car in an enclosed, locked lot. We were just a few minutes walk to the city center of this charming town. There were lots of choices for eating and shopping nearby. Our 2 bedroom apartment was an upgrade from the 1 bedroom we had reserved. The kitchen was immense as well as the patio/balcony which could seat 8 comfortably. September was the perfect month for exploring the old town of Goslar. "

"This was our 3rd visit to Torfhaus Resort Hotel. It is our favorite. The location in the Harz Mountains is serene, but also full of possibilities for hiking, biking, and quick travel to picturesque towns. The houses/cabins at the resort are maintained in excellent condition. There is plenty of room for a family. We enjoy sitting on the deck with a meal and looking at the beautiful views of the forest. "The property was clean and fairy easy to access. Parking was good. The property is in a highrise building from the 70's. Smelled a bit musty. We didn't use the pool or sauna, so can't comment. It was close to downtown and the Sole Terme. We had to pay extra for bedding and towels! The bed was not very comfortable. I am not sure what the mattress was stuffed with, maybe grass, lol. It was hard and uncomfortable. Make sure you bring everything you need, including shower jell, shampoo, etc."
