We enjoyed our stay in Ogunquit at your cottage. The location was superb, the furnishings comfortable, and our dog enjoyed sunning himself.
No serious concerns, but some quirks:
We didn't know if there were existing pantry items provided, so we acquired them from the local Hannaford. But, would suggest having some basics available, such as sugar and inexpensive spices.
The instruction booklet for the cottage seemed to be for a different property, based on some of the references.
We had trouble with the TV. We understood that you wouldn't have a cable subscription, but we couldn't get the Roku remote to work, even after changing batteries, and we didn't want to open a YouTube subscription to watch local channels. On the plus side, we discovered we could get most of what we wanted to watch on our laptop and iPad.
You mentioned the construction next door, and the guys working on the house were very considerate, notifying us aout making noise, and also, considerate about moving their cars/trucks away if they were close to our car. Again, not a big problem as we walked into town most of the time. We also had nice conversations with John, the owner of the third cottage and the woman who owns Maine House and will be moving into the house being constructed.
We recommend the cottage to others who would like quick access to the town by foot, and the very good restaurants literally right outside the door. The surrounding neighborhood (Windward) is great for walking.
