"We did not use the onsen and we were only here for one night. Things to note… it’s very hard to travel around this area! No Ubers lol. We were able to get people to call us taxis so make sure to have cash! We loved our traditional room, I just wish for foreigners they had instructions. Other than that, we had a great stay :) very peaceful and beautiful area. The view of the mountain was awesome! "

"We stayed here for a week while visiting our daughter who lived nearby. The staff were friendly, and polite. No problem with communication even though I do not speak Japanese. I really enjoyed their breakfast buffet. The view of the mountains from the room can't be beat. I agree with one review that said the toilet in the reception is the best toilet I have been to in Japan, as crazy as that may sound. Highly recommend!"

The pictures provided through travel agencies are not accurate: this hotel is not secluded or in the mountains or even remotely close to nature. It is in the middle of an urban development, and not a particularly modern or advanced one. Still had a lovely time! Just not what we were expecting."
