Overbooked and still no refund
I booked one night at this hotel through Orbitz. I arrived with my 18-month-old baby hoping to make her a bottle and go to bed. They had no rooms because they had overbooked and I had to find accommodations for the night. There was no one at the check-in desk and when I call the number on the reservation, they told me to wait in the parking lot for someone to come. The gentleman came and told me I had to go to the office at a different location so they can find me some place to stay because they had overbooked and had no rooms. I told him I was not leaving and that his boss needed to come and meet me in the parking lot and reconcile the situation. As a calling multiple times, someone showed up that they did not have any rooms at the location that I had booked. They left and told me they would refund my money. I had to find accommodations for the night on my own at 8 o’clock at night in a dark parking lot. The security guard knew of a rental property that I could rent for the night and the owner was very accommodating. When I arrived back in Boston, I thought my refund whatever already been processed but it was not. I called Orbitz to find out why and they said they would call the hotel and clear up the situation and refund my money. I booked a hotel for January 12, 2018 and today is January 18, 2018 and I have yet to receive my refund. I want my money Orbitz!!
