Oceanside Inn & Suites reminded me of a cheap motel that really does not belong in the upmarket town of Oceanside, California. The rate was not cheap. I stayed one night and when i came back at midnight there was a strange character hanging around the entrance to the room near mine , on the phone like he was there to collect a debt. I locked the door and I heard him on the phone for an hour. I put a chair up against my door from the inside. The motel is run by a very plesant Indian gentleman who us very helpful and that was good. I found better options later. Nkt for me. But not out of consideration for emergency.

The property was good for the price...no frills The owner who checked us in was very accommodating... It was noisy at night... BTW room was clean and bed sheets were very clean and crisp...place has been remodeled.. bathroom was small but ok...the floor was a bit dirty because my feet got dirty ....I would go back for a night or two... overall it was fine without paying a high price for it...

Great place if you want an inexpensive room for a night or two. Bare bones with almost no amenities but so what, if you just need a place to sleep did the night.

The staff was super nice and accommodating. You can tell the rooms have been updated. Beds were decent, not the best. Bed frames made ALOT of noise when moving and sleeping. The rooms were HUGE! Bathroom was a little different, as it did not have a sink, only shower and toilet. You have to go to the other side of the room to use a sink. Overall, it’s a decent place to sleep overnight. Probably would not recommend for multi night stay though. Mainly because the beds were so loud. Made it difficult to sleep. Don’t expect 5 star “Ritz”, and you’ll be okay. Easy to get to and affordable. We stayed mainly to rest after a day at Lego Land. Which was less than a 10 minute drive away.

You can tell that this place has been newly renovated. Our only complaint was the metal bed kick plates. Every time we rolled over or got out of bed it sounded like metal trash cans being banged together.
