This motel has so much potential in this prime area but the owner clearly has zero regard for comfort. Owners should be embarrassed. The property is filthy covered in dog poop the sidewalks, railings, doors just everything is filthy. A simple power wash would make a huge difference. The pillows may as well be sheets the rooms are bare minimum. Clearly this motel has a target audience (in and out stays). The man in the office was rude and kept a break sign up the whole time. I had to holler for someone to come up and assist me. I could have robbed the whole lobby and nobody would have noticed cause I was waving down the camera. Save your money and stay anywhere else!! If nothing else is available, you’re better off staying the night in your car!

Room was fairly clean, but the hot tub was broken. THe Best Western right next door was 10 times nicer with a working hot tub for the same price.

The property is ok, the main rooms in the front part of the hotel are decent but the ones in the back part seem to be live in accommodations. People at the front desk moved us from one of the back rooms to a front room since ours hadnt been cleaned yet. Right next door to starbucks.

overall it is good. just nobody showed up in the reception place and no sign showing when they will be back or how to find them. Bathroom door cannot close.

A place to sleep on a busy weekend near the beach
We mostly didn't like the dog poop in the parking lot and on the "grass" near the parking lot. The room was clean enough. The AC was loud, but not as loud as at the hotel we stayed at the night before. Free parking. The area around the hotel looks pretty sketchy, but it is right in O'side. In-n-Out is right across the street. The beach and harbor are a couple of blocks away.

The building itself is in terrible shape, though the room was fine. It looked like they've tried to upgrade the rooms somewhat, but the overall appearance of the structure was not good.
