Come and enjoy our Oceanfront Beach House.

This nautically themed home is fully furnished, well equipped and ready for you.  Please contact us for more details. 

Our Home: As you enter the door/main floor of our home You will find directly to your right four steps leading you to our living room, dining and kitchen area, along with patio access.

Bedrooms/Laundry/Bathrooms: Going back down those same steps and down the hall to your left we have a laundry room, and a full tub and shower bathroom. Directly across, and to your right are two bedrooms, one is a twin bedroom with two twin beds, and the other is our full bedroom with one full size bed At the end of the hall is our master bedroom with a king-size bed and a second full tub and shower bathroom.

Studio: Above the garage and up a flight of stairs we have a studio that will graciously accommodate four more guests. This room has a queen bed and two twin beds, along with a dining table, and fridge. This separate space comes complete with another kitchen and full bathroom.

Household Items Provided: A fully stocked home and kitchen with all the amenities we think are essential to our guests. Fresh linens, bedding, towels, paper towels, toilet tissue, soaps, cookware, kitchen essentials, coffee filters, drip coffee maker, a Keurig, a PAN IN THE GARAGE ABOVE THE WASHER with items to be used when barbecuing. (Please Note, due to new restrictions we can no longer leave any condiments.) Additional items provided & included for indoor use: A small card table with chairs (located in the entry closet) and a large folding table with chairs (located in the master bedroom closet.) Please Return All folding table and chairs to where they were taken from & belong. .

Outdoor Items Provided: A Briquette Barbecue, a Fire Ring, a large bucket of sand toys, a large picnic table, blue patio chairs.. These items are provided for your outdoor enjoyment.

PERSONAL ITEMS YOU SHOULD BRING: SUNSCREEN, A JACKET/SWEATSHIRT, BLANKETS FOR OUTDOOR USE, SHAMPOO, BEACH TOWELS, FOLDING BEACH CHAIRS FOR THE SAND, BRIQUETTES & FIREWOOD.

PARKING: This home has carport and driveway parking only. The garage is not available for parking. Three vehicles total are allowed at this home. One in carport, and two in the driveway.

Please Note: This beach does allow vehicles to drive near the waters edge, and that is about the length of a football field, (cars are not allowed to drive up by the homes.) If this bothers you, and is not something you would enjoy watching you may want to consider another property that is not oceanfront.

Perfect Beach Home Getaway
The property had amazing views and backyard access to the beach. We all enjoyed the activities they had to offer near by. All within walking distance. Mornings we started with a nice cup of brew in the patio area in the backyard. And nights were filled with a great time and conversations around the fire pit.

Amazingly clean, nicely decorated, beachfront property
We are a group of 10. Youngest is age 4 oldest is 70 plus years old. The house is very nicely decorated. Very clean and furniture is updated. Loved the amenities---huge bucket of sand toys, fire pit ring, hibachi grill, and everything you need to cook your meals with is there. There is a separate unit away from the main house which is nice for the early sleepers like my elderly mom and school aged kids if they want to go to bed way earlier than the teenagers and the husnands who were up till wee hours playing board games. If you walk down strand way (the street), you will see this property is the nicest one.

Comfortable home on the beach
This was a great vacation rental that suited our multi-generation family of 4 couples for grad weekend very well. It was a nice distance away from campus to be able to get away from SLO and enjoy our time together during the hectic weekend.

Perfect family getaway

Excellent stay
The house was excellent - plenty of space and with the beach in the backyard. Communication with the host was seamless, and check in/out was easy. The only thing that threw us for a surprise was the cars on the beach, which were allowed to be there as part of the state park.

Beautiful and memorable!
We celebrated my mom’s 75th birthday and it was great! My siblings and I wanted to give our mom a quiet and peaceful place to celebrate on the beach, since that’s her favorite place to be. The home was as described and had everything we needed to make it a memorable weekend. Everyone was comfortable and had plenty of space to relax and enjoy being with family. We look forward to another visit next summer!

Beautiful beach!
The house was great, it was big enough to sleep 10 comfortably and the apartment above was spacious and quiet. Very well stocked and clean. They let us check in early which was a wonderful bonus. Oceano dunes is a very unique place to stay. The dunes keeps the beach in front of the properties private and protected from the wind, but then the car beach stays busy. If you have a 4x4 it’s a neat experience.

Awesome View Beach House
Spent the weekend with my adult children and their significant others! The view is aamazing, late night fire pit on the beach- all the comforts of home! FYI- gets a little windy around 3ish but subsides around 7ish beautiful at night. We will be back and stay longer than a weekend.

Family Gathering
We gathered with family to celebrate a birthday. The home is clean & comfortable with lots of amenities and an amazing view. Each bedroom was well stocked with blankets & pillows. My grand babies played for hours off the back patio in the sand.

Girls Trip
This was 2nd visit to this house for a girls trip( a return trip that says something) The location and the amount of beds and baths are what you are paying for. For the group I was with this house was fantastic. The 4 stars on the cleaning is because 2 of the gals walked barefoot in the house the 1st night we were there and the bottoms of their feet were filthy ( neither had gone out on the deck that day) Again you can not beat the location of this house. The view is great

We absolutely loved the property and the location. The accommodations were beyond what we expected. The only slight issue we had was the direct communication with the owner about the check in process. We asked for details regarding check in that were not found on the listing but did not get any further details. The owner seemed to become frustrated and offered a full refund just days before our check in date. This caused unnecessary stress and panic on our end. In the end everything worked out and we enjoyed our stay.

Restorative Oasis
Walking into the property was overwhelming. We were greeted by soft music playing and a view of the pristine, freshly raked sand just beyond the charming deck. The dunes rose beyond the smooth sand and the crisp surf ebbed and flowed slightly beyond that. We could not wait to unload our bags and dig our feet into the perfect sand and dip our toes into the water. What a gloriously inviting retreat you've created for your guests. The home is well appointed with all amenities available. We had comfortable sleeping accomodations for our family and were grateful we had cancelled our originally-planned hotel reservations and opted for the family-bonding opportunities a beach house could afford. Many thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us.

Stay was with Contractor Friends 19th annual guy trip
Property location as listed was awesome, some review's I read said it needed updated carpet and paint. My friends are builders and contractors. They were very disappointed in the carpet and paint. The tile on the entry steps that is cracked and the front door wall at the entry steps have a large gap. The kitchen was as listed all nice dishes and all labeled. The kitchen bay window left lower corner has a pile of dirt and looks like it needs the potted plant moved to do a good clean. It is a older home like many on the street and we have stayed at 6 homes on the same street, this one by far needs some TLC for the price charged. I still have not received my damage deposit. I will contact the property manager and see what is going on with that.

Pros: Beds were comfortable and clean. Views of the Ocean and beach were great. Location was good, close to restaurants and shops. Walking access to the beach was great. Cons: this home was not suitable for small children or anyone with mobility limitations. There are stairs to enter the main part of the home and stairs to get up to the extra room above garage. Also, there is no guardrail off of the back deck, which can be very dangerous for small children and adults as well. The home is very very dated.. and very very used looking and feeling. Feels like the owner does the very bare minimum at cleaning or keeping the home updated. The grout on the floors is filthy as well as the floors themselves. Not cleaned very well. The furniture is old and worn. Kitchen cabinets are worn, grout on counter tops dirty, coffee cups had coffee stains in them but were put away in cabinet. Carpet in master bedroom was stained.. There are no extra amenities or any type of extra effort put into Providing a special experience for the guests. At $1000.00 per night we were very disappointed in the overall condition and experience. Also, the owner leaves a list of very strong worded instructions of do’s and don’t, which is understandable.. but it immediately makes guests feel unwelcome. Especially, because it is evident that the owner does not go out of their way to provide a clean inviting space for paying guests. Overall, for the price, we were not thrilled and would not choose to rent this home again on a return visit.

Awesome location but has stairs and Overpriced
The home is in a great location, although traffic going along the beach, headed to the sand dunes, can get heavy (when you go down to the water's edge). Beware that this home has stairs, even in the main level. There is no mention of stairs in the description, nor the pictures, but there are stairs that must be navigated, when entering the home, to access the main living area. Bedrooms and bathrooms are all on the same level as the front door, but the main living area has stairs that must be accessed. My main reason for renting this particular unit was the single level home that didn't appear to have any stairs - never assume the photos are accurate! While the location of this home is awesome, repairs are definitely needed, so beware. Those stairs I mentioned are actually separating away from the wall - there's an actual gap between the stairs and the wall. Bathrooms are exceptionally outdated, some of the windows won't open, others have lost their seal and have a white film between the window panes - so heavily that you can't see out that window. Carpeting is in need of replacement or needs to be re-stretched. With all of the fee's, you actually wind up paying an additional night's rent - over $1,000 in fees!! Makes a HUGE difference in price when you add all of the additional fees. And keep in mind those fees don't get you much - you are REQUIRED to "leave it as you found it" - in other words, you have to clean the entire house before you leave - including washing dishes, washing towels, sweeping floors, etc. It's a LOT of work that YOU'RE required to do before leaving and checkout is at noon, so plan to get up early and start to work on the day you're leaving.

Fantastic Stay in Oceano
We had a fantastic time! Location was perfect. It was very nice having the sand dunes be our backyard, and being steps away from the ocean. The neighborhood was quiet, which added to our relaxing vacation. House and amenities were exactly as listed. The owner was very easy to work with. Can't wait to stay here again!

Fantastic stay!
We celebrated our son’s college graduation at the Oceano beach house. We had 9 people in our party and found this house extremely comfortable, spacious, clean, and enjoyed the lovely views from the deck. Tammy was extremely easy to communicate with and super generous and kind with some of our requests. I only wish that we had several extra days after the graduation to just enjoy the house. We will return again. Thank you again, Tammy!

Listing was 100% accurate. Amazing home.
The listing was so accurate, it really helped with planning what to bring, etc. We don't have any complaints about any part of our stay. It was 4 couples that stayed here, and we knew the bed situation was better geared towards families with kids, but it worked out for us very well.
