Come enjoy all that Ocean Grove has to offer from our beautiful renovated Victorian beach house. This 1BR beach house, the downstairs unit in a duplex, is sleeps up to 4 and is perfect for couples, friends, and families. Located only a few blocks from the beach in a historic neighborhood lined with 19th century homes and close walk to the bustling action of Asbury Park! This is an excellent base for your Jersey Shore retreat.

The Space:
Enter through your own private entrance on the lovely wrap around front porch with outdoor furniture. Inside the private entrance, you enter into the living room of the beautifully renovated first floor unit. The bright and spacious living room includes two comfortable leather futons, Smart TV, and your own bar cart. The flex room to the side of the living room has a comfortable day bed with memory foam mattress.
Off the living room is a large, fully equipped eat-in kitchen with a table that seats four. Enjoy plenty of space as you prepare home cooked meals after a day at the beach with family or friends.
After a long day you can unwind and sleep on the memory foam mattress in the queen sized bed in the unit's bedroom. The bedroom is equipped with a large closet, and antique dresser to store all your belongings.
Wash away the sand in a renovated bathroom with custom tile shower and luxury showerhead.
The Stockton is an excellent work from home or remote learning retreat with super fast (>300 mbps) Wi-Fi.
Guest Access:
Guests have full and exclusive use of the downstairs unit and porch (see below).
Please be advised the porch is undergoing a total renovation in March and April of 2023 and will be inaccessible with ongoing construction. Guest will access the unit via the back door. We are delighted to have a brand new porch to offer our guests in the Summer of 2023.
The Neighborhood:
Ocean Grove was founded in 1869 when a group of Methodist clergymen formed the Ocean Grove Camp Meeting Association to develop & operate a summer camp meeting site on the New Jersey seashore.
On Ocean Grove's tree-lined streets is the largest assemblage of authentic Victorian architecture in the nation. In 1976, the town was entered in the National Register of Historic Places and, in 1977, the New Jersey State Register of Historic Places.
Though the population swells in the summer months, Ocean Grove is “open for business” 365 days a year, with over 3000 year-round residents.
Getting Around:
Ocean Grove and Asbury are great towns to walk.
Close to both Asbury Park and Bradley Beach train stations on the North Jersey Coast Line.
Ocean Grove has street parking, and Uber / Lyft is readily available.
Other Things to Note:
1.) 2 Ocean Grove seasonal adult beach badges and 2 youth (12-17) badges are provided for guests to use during their stay. Children under 12 do not need badges. There is a $100 replacement fee per badge for lost or not returned badges.
2.)We cannot accommodate early check-ins and/or pickup of beach badges prior to the stated check-in time. If you need to purchase daily passes for your check-in day, we can provide information if needed.
3) Please note that smoking is not allowed either indoors or outdoors.
