"Walked up from the train station. Beautiful location. Initially confused as to where lobby/ check-in is located because of so many Pousada Vila Obidos signs, but once we located the proper entrance, our experience could not have been better. Pedro is an excellent employee, giving us suggestions, answering questions, seeing us walking along the street and ensuring we were doing well later in the day. Walking along the top of the wall is so fun and you must try a ginja!"

"A fantastic, beautiful place to stay within the Castle walls. The staff was outstanding. The breakfast was delicious. I do totally disagree with one person opinion that stayed in Room 1. I stayed in Room 1 and NO a person in a car CAN NOT reach their hand from their car into your window. The Guest House is so beautiful and the staff was super friendly helpful. A great place to stay."

"I like that it was close to the castle and the wall. The atmosphere of the place was wonderful. There were lots of options for breakfast. The food tasted great. The staff were friendly and went out of their way to help you. My room had a balcony which had a view of the Castle wall which is what I wanted. I could look out the balcony and take pictures. Great location."
