"Very good hotel "

"Accommodation was very tired, cracked bathroom surfaces, rusty radiators, broken kitchen cupboard and bin, lack of glasses and cutlery. Staff at the clubhouse restaurant were unfriendly and we felt like we were too much trouble for them. "

"We arrived to a deserted resort-literally only one there. The outside was very unkept. My wife was literally shuffling through spider webs to get the key. Once you gain access it is quite pleasant, however definitely not secure. Especially if the only people staying there, it can be quite daunting. We tried to make do & settled in & decided to enjoy the hot tub which was too cold to tolerate. We then proceeded to the sauna & couldn't even warm the shivers from the hot tub. "Fabulous location with ocean view. Clean, well furnished. Would have been nice if 2 of 3 bedrooms had king beds vs just one. The Beachfront resort restaurant was closed the Sunday & Monday of our stay. And the market place wasn’t open late so if you had a late arrival you had few options. Unfortunately the entryway locking mechanism at the front door was bizarrely difficult to open & you had to be careful you didn’t scrape your knuckles when turning the tiny knob. At least 6 coffee pods...

"The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean and really nice. Loved the balcony. The only complaint I have is that the wall separating the bathroom from the room was glass and not private enough. When I opened the light to go to washroom in the middle of the night it lit up part of the room where one of the beds was located waking up my daughter who was sleeping. Just an impractical design."

"A fantastic, beautiful place to stay within the Castle walls. The staff was outstanding. The breakfast was delicious. I do totally disagree with one person opinion that stayed in Room 1. I stayed in Room 1 and NO a person in a car CAN NOT reach their hand from their car into your window. The Guest House is so beautiful and the staff was super friendly helpful. A great place to stay."
