The chalet inside is clean, a sauna inside the chalet, fireplace … just get your firewood at the market . Couldn’t ask for a better place . And to top it off the price is unbeatable ..."

Great view with basics
"It was easy to do self check-in and clean with great view. It was the best chimoice. However there was no one for reception so we cannot ask simple cattle and hot water. Also there was parking fee which seems like normal for this area."

Perfect stay for a large group
"The location of the house is excellent. Walking distance to the lake, restaurants, bakery, groceries, train station etc. The house is spacious and we especially enjoyed grilling. The host was very hospitable and extremely helpful. We would love to come back."

The hotel we stayed in was wonderful, and the area of Obertraun is quaint, quiet, safe, and beautiful. The area is not as easily accessible to Hallstatt or other attractions without transportation—may be more easily navigated with your own car.

The village was small and quiet. The route to get to the Hotel was winding between houses and down alleys to get to. More difficult to find in the dark.

Obertraun is geographically spectacular with vistas that stun. A lovely local bakery, and the town has excellent proximity to Dachstein.
