"Very modern, very clean and only 300m away from the center of Karlsruhe-Mühlburg, with a few restaurants and bars / cafés and a good bakery at nearby Kaiserallee. The accomodation was also very quite. Only one small issue existed: The TV cable-receiver box was apparently left in disorder and did not work at first. But I could fix it, so that TV was working as well."

"We were disappointed with the property. Two rooms and up to seven guests does a lot of heavy lifting in the description. Our kids bedroom was also the shared dining room and lounge. There is also air conditioning but only in one room. It is not available in the bedroom. A washing machine is available but you have to pay extra for this which felt cheep and penny grabbing. I found the correspondence with the owner difficult and received a curt reply when seeking to clarify entry...

"The apartment was roomy, comfortable, modern and supplied with ample kitchen utensils. Good location. Parking limited. No concierge; non-contact registering leaves you without anyone to offer immediate assistance. Malfunctioning RFID (electronic) keypad locked us out of our apartment on our last night and left us sleeping on the hallway floor with no bathroom facilities available; calls to SEEGER emergency assistance proved useless. Expedia was of no help. Wouldn't risk a repeat."

"Lovely area to explore, close to some great towns and attractions including heaps of wineries. Apartment was very spacious and extremely clean. Hosts happy to share their local knowledge which is always appreciated. Even though it was the a hot day 39 degrees the apartment was still nice and cool upon our return. Nice little outdoor area to enjoy as well. Highly recommend staying at this apartment."

On the negative side the apartment felt bare and uninviting in the style of a student residence, and had some functional issues, e.g. broken light bulb, dripping bathroom taps, low quality bed. "I had a wonderful peaceful one week vacation at this property. The owner who lives next door is very kind and welcoming. A microwave oven will be a handy addition to the kitchen but we managed. The heating worked very well during the cold nights. The early breakfast in the glass room was amazing. I recommend this apartment to every one specially to families with small children."
