"The house was a perfect place to spread out and relax, while exploring the Rhine by car and boat. The paid parking lot was very convenient to the lodging (once we discovered the shortcut under the road and up some stairs). We didn’t take advantage of the sauna or the jacuzzi tub, but the washer and full kitchen was perfect. I was surprised to find that the bed on the top floor was a waterbed—I slept like a baby. "This house has EVERYTHING you could ever need and more! The accommodation is spacious and immaculately clean. We are a family of 5 adults, a 12 year old and 2 dogs and there was plenty of room for us all. The garden is totally enclosed and private with a hot tub, undercover seating areas and uncovered areas too. A bbq. A games room with pool table, table football, darts and loads of other board games. "We can’t say enough about Sven and Soula and this property. It was heaven! Clean, well stocked kitchen, gorgeous views….everything you could ever want! And the town of Boppard will now forever hold a special place in my heart. ❤️ If you go, try to make reservations at Severus Stube-our favorite restaurant this entire trip. Lovely Welcome

"The hotel is in a great location and the car park is close by. The lady on the desk when we checked in we think was the owner. She was really helpful and friendly. The breakfast room was a typical German wooden panelled room which was delightful the staff made us feel welcome and the breakfast was excellent. "

"Rudesheim was our last stop during our 2 week European vacation and we were very happy to stay at Hotel Zum Baeren as it was the best property we stayed at during our entire trip. We have bad allergies and asthma and the staff was able to accommodate our needs fully. Combined with blackout shades and a comfortable bed we had our best sleep during our trip and were able to recuperate quickly from our prior stays in the UK and France. The property is larger than it appears in the pictures and is located just a few minutes away from public parking. It's close to all of the action but just a couple of blocks away from it on a quiet street. We loved walking around the town day and night. We also walked to/from the Niederwald Monument and Eibingen Abbey for beautiful views of the valley covered with vineyards and castles. The staff was awesome and made us feel welcomed the moment we stepped into the lobby. We know enough German to get by but it was very nice having the front desk person fluent in English. She came out from behind the desk and showed us around the property and gave us other useful information on the area. All very much appreciated. When we come back to Rudesheim in the future we will stay at Hotel Zum Baeren without a doubt."
