"Good hotel overall. I did not find the stuff being too “welcoming “. Very convenient location. Almost next door to the main Zurich train station which made travel to other cities very easy. The room was small but that typical for an European hotels. One thing to be aware is that the rooms which are in the back of the hotel are facing a construction site. The start at 7 am. And some times the noises is substantial. The hidden gem of the hotel is the bar. There was always live music. "

"Altstadt hotel is in a really convenient spot in Zurich!! There is construction going on, on that street though which can be loud as cars pass by. Again very convenient though. Very nice rooms and bathroom! Has an elevator as well."

"15 minutes walk from the train station. Really nice and thoughtful room layout. Surrounding area has a lot of young adults. Seemed to be affordable compared to the surrounding area's options."
