A very central location with easy access to town and restaurants. Easy to access by car.
The bed was very comfortable (but a Double so small). The shower was excellent and the towels were very nice.
The room was small and because we were on the top floor the walls were sloped to the ceiling making the room feel even smaller.
Parking, unless you grab a spot early is on the road and Pay Parking.
Communication with Owner is by scripted e mails but clear directions on how to get into your room. We did have a Fire Alarm and could not get in contact with Owner via e mail. Alarm went on until Fire Dept arrived.
This property is in a great location and has good parking. Not sure what has happened with the wiring of the televisions, but other guests can not only change the channel and volume, they can turn the tv on in the middle of the night. Both nights had to play remote battles turning the tv off up to 50 times. Fire alarm also went off in the early hours, but those things can happen. Overall, look elsewhere, this was irritating accommodation.
Good location, easy to park, and it was clean, but the room was cold and the heating and towel rail would not function. The wi-fi worked on arrival but then stopped working and was unavailable for the evening and morning. The lack of reception meant no way to rectify these things. Room also had two single beds which I was not expecting.
Easy to find & park up. Easy to check in. Room was clean. Close to shops, restaurant and the sea. Disappointed in the WiFi but had a good data signal so used that instead.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, room comfort
Pro - Handy to have free car park on site. Good location for town. Surprisingly quiet despite being on a busy road.
Cons - Our room was very small and had no storage (drawers, etc). Temperature control did not work and so the room (number 8 and at the top of the building) was quite hot. Room could do with a paint as very scuffed - mostly due to the small space and people having to rub past the walls with luggage. Room has a large crack in one wall.
Stayed two nights. Overall a great property. Clean, spacious, nice shower.
Owner was very helpful when I called about getting into our room. (Issue with expedia re not getting email about ck in.)
Would have been nice to have a refrigerator and top up of coffee pods.
Had to park on the street one night but no parking fee was required between 6pm and 9 am.
Very close walk to restaurants, shopping and Ferry. If you plan to goto the Isle of Mull and have a rental car, definitely take it on the Ferry! Tough to get around Mull otherwise. Buses and taxis are very limited!
We felt mislead by the description and photos of this room. It was so small, that we had trouble even walking around, especially with luggage. The area was great and walkable to everything.
A comfortable room with a spotless bathroom. Clear and accurate instructions about entry and we had off-street car parking. In Room 2 there was one chair and no desk. A warm and cosy room. Ours was a three night stay.
Great little apartment a block away from the main streets of Oban, with off street parking in back and an easy walk to restaurants and bars. Minor issue getting email instructions on how to get in, but when I left a message to the host they called back in minutes and resolved the issue.

Disappointing …
Room was clean and bed was okay, but one bedside light didn’t work and the tv wouldn’t work (remote control battery was likely dead). Also not enough shampoo and soap for a 3-day stay.
4 nights of fabulousness… we stayed in The Dun… I cannot fault ANYTHING… room was amazing… had everything one would need…. Two minutes from centre… Will defo be back.
A cute place in a great location, just a 5 minute walk to the waterfront. Perfectly situated so you aren’t quite in the thick of the main traffic area but still very close. I loved the parking availability and was fortunate to not have to fight for a spot when I was there.
Only downside: no refrigerator. I had to throw out some grocery items on my trip because I had nowhere to put them.
This property provided easy access to Oban. Very walkable and it had convenient parking. Nice modern bathroom. Unfortunately, the room was very small, with no place at all to put suitcases, so we had to clutter the small space with our bags. There was a wardrobe, but who unpacks for just two nights? My husband found the bed uncomfortable. Not at the top of our list of great places to stay in Scotland.
Issue with the booking due to the booking agent. Staff were friendly and helpful on the phone and resolved very quickly. Because booked through hotels.com and not Expedia we didn’t get access codes. Nothing to do with the venue or us and efficiently and effectively dealt with. Nice and cosy room
