"I stayed Friday to Monday (3 nights) and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The house is clean and tidy, everything is easy to find and it's well-equipped. It's literally a stone's throw from the beach. There are modern conveniences and contemporary decor but house still has it's 1920's character, right down to a claw-foot bath and the loo positioned in the washhouse near the back door. Having no internet connection is great if you want a break from the online world to enjoy your holiday in peace, but there's still digital TV if you're so inclined. Step back in time, and relax. You'll love it."

"Very easy to feel at home. The weather wasn’t always the greatest but the house was warm and my husband spent a happy time on the covered balcony gazing at the sea. Lots of walks on the beach and the tracks. The sea was a constant companion. A great escape for a few days. Would like to stay longer next time. "

"Perfect, private and very comfortable accommodation for a five night holiday for hubby and I from Wellington. Great location to base ourselves to visit New Plymouth city and other local areas. Loved the daily ocean view and got to see the magnificent mountain view at the start and end of our stay (weather permitting). "Great little place, good location within easy reach of everything. Only downside would be the fact the bed squeeks every time you move Listing says there is a washer and dryer but there is not though this is apparently not theough lack of them trying to stop it from being on the list"
