"A lovely night stay - I was impressed with the spacious room I was allocated and the quality of the furniture and fittings. The room was lovely and warm. Breakfast menu was fantastic and a very good choice of items provided. The only downside was trying to find it as the postcode took me to a housing estate and I got very lost!"

"Property a bit tired looking however, spotlessly clean and staff where friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious with everything we needed although the lighting was rather dim. Small bathroom but adequate and great, powerful shower with constant hot water. Bed large and comfy. Room very quiet and warm. We ate evening meal in the pub, lovely food at reasonable price with varied menu. We also had breakfast, again, lovely food and a good choice. We would stay here again. "

"Wonderful from start to finish! Beautiful rooms which are set round the back of the pub and are more like little houses! Felt so safe and slept so well, the beds are like clouds! Beautiful quaint little pub where we had our breakfast the next day which was cooked to perfection! Leah was very attentive and the perfect host. No tv remote in room and to be fair we didn’t request one during the stay as we got back late and didn’t notice until ready for bed and would have had to walk into the bar area! "

"We were all very impressed with the place, for a huge property it was exceptionally clean everywhere and filled with everything you need. Bigger with some older style rooms, it gave a great feel for hide and seek. It provided a good base for all of us to hang out together whilst giving some space, great for games and a couple walks in the area. We really enjoyed our cold pond dips followed by warming up in the hot tub. This was already warmed up for us on arrival and lots of wood and starters...
