Beautifully remodeled house located just a few short steps away from beach access. You can hear the Ocean from this house. Gorgeous ocean views from the front deck. Spacious back yard. House has HDTV, WiFi Internet, Washer and Dryer and full kitchen.

Ocean crest pier is a short walk away. Fine dining at the Island Way restaurant is also a short walk away.

Oak Island is a beach town in North Carolina. It’s separated from the mainland by the Intracoastal Waterway. The Atlantic coast is lined with beaches, and fishermen gather at the long Ocean Crest Pier. The Oak Island Nature Center has trails, plus displays on fossils and native animals. To the east, Oak Island Lighthouse has sweeping views over Caswell Beach and Bald Head Island.

The Town also has a municipal golf course and eight parks, ranging from a fishing T at the west end of the island to a large park on the mainland complete with baseball and football fields. There is a skate park, a dog park, a cabana on the oceanfront with an observation deck and plenty of places to find a quiet spot to relax and enjoy the view. Area businesses, like piers and marinas, restaurants and ice cream shops, also help make vacationers feel welcome while catering to full-time residents. Fun family trip to the beach
This was a Juneteenth/First Father's Day trip for me and my family. We had a great time and the public beach access was the perfect distance. Very relaxing on a family oriented beach.

Great Location
Great location across from beach access. It was nice, clean, and quiet. It had everything we needed for a week vacation. Pier was a short walk down the beach drive. The only things i would add are wall tvs in bedrooms, ice maker in refrigerator, closets or armoire in the bedrooms, and towel hangers in bathrooms.

Sandy toes in just a few steps!
This cozy cottage is perfectly located just steps from the beach and pier. The ocean view is like beach front without the hefty price tag. Holly is an excellent host, prompt to respond with any questions. The home was very clean and the kitchen was well supplied. We enjoyed our stayed and hope to return soon!

Nicely decorated and well equipped cottage. Enjoyed lounging on the covered porch. The beach was just steps away and was easy to access at all times of day and tides.

PERFECT view of the ocean
We stayed here for a week and we really enjoyed it. Great little house with front porch and the view of the ocean from the porch was awesome! Just so relaxing sitting out there enjoying the breeze and the beautiful view. Definitely would stay again!!!

Great Beach House Experience!
Beautiful house! This place is awesome! Each room was so spacious and has that perfect beach vibe! We had everything we needed and just a quick walk to the beach, it was the perfect place for us! The house is exactly what you see in the advertisement it is clean and close to all things related to the beach and surrounding areas. My second time staying at Donovans Reef beach house with my family. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch admiring the beautiful ocean view. The house is well equipped with everything you need for a great time. Walking distance to the beach.

Donavan’s Delight
We very much enjoyed our time at this beach house. Proximity to beach is great. Sun facing View of the ocean is great from the balcony. Plenty of space for a family. Kitchen was stocked with plenty of utensils and cooking gear. Check in was easy and place was clean upon arrival. All the people in the area were very nice and friendly. We would love to come back someday.

We really enjoyed our stay. The access to the beach was great, especially for me. I am late 70's and sometimes walking far is hard since my knees arent what they used to be. Close to driving around Oak Island. Will definitely look for this house again and rent it. Thanks again.

Donovan’s Reef
The positives are location, water pressure, nice washer and dryer and contact with Molly. The negatives would be that there is only 1 tv in living room in whole house. The furniture was wet and dirty. The cookware needs replaced due to it being scratched up pots and pans s as no very thin where they burn easily on the stove. There is nothing to do around the house like a fire pit, hammocks. The chairs left for the beach are rusted. The deck is worn as well. The driveway is sand which is a huge inconvenience when you’re trying not to bring sand into the house. So you are at the beach and you go to rinse off in the shower underneath the house you still have to walk up through the drive way of the stairs to get in the house so you cannot get away from the sand. The beds or what I would compare to college dorm, beds, cheap and not comfortable. I had two rolls of toilet paper that they supplied. there is also black mold in the exhaust fan in the bathroom in the hallway between both bedrooms. I will never stay here again, and I will make sure if I do come back to Oak Island. It will definitely be not on the beach.

We enjoyed our stay at Donovan's Reef and can't wait to return! We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the boats on the ocean and listening to the waves! Public access to the beach was right at the home which was wonderful! We loved being able to bring our pup with us! Looking forward to another trip!

Perfect Beach Vacation
Donovan's Reef was the perfect house for our week-long stay at OKI! It is right across the street from a public access, giving you easy access to the beach. You can also see the ocean from the cozy front porch. The house fit our family of 5 perfectly. Upon arrival, it was clean and well stocked with everything we needed - linens, towels, washcloths, etc. Holly was so gracious and communicated with me, as needed. It was a wonderful week and I would not hessitate to book another stay here again!

What a Gem at OKI
Our first time staying at Oak Island. What a beautiful place! Oceanview from most views in the house. It was very close to the beach access and other fun. Was a perfect weekend for our party of 5!
