"We stayed here for our 9th anniversary/baby moon and it was the perfect simple getaway. I enjoyed ocean front coffee on the wrap around porch and my husband loved being steps from the beach where he caught several albacore tuna at sunrise. Recommend packing light to maximize space. Only other feedback is the bed mattress is a little firm. Wonderful trip overall can’t wait to go back!! "

"Hello, We stay Friday - Monday over Labor Day weekend. I wanted to see Cape Lookout. We took the ferry over on Saturday, which was just a short quick ride to the ferry dock from the house. "Small affordable places like Bogue Shores keep me going to Atlantic Beach every year. Snooty club members that call it an eyesore can go play in traffic. It is a great location on the sound, across from a beach access point, and near the shopping center, movie theater, skatepark, etc. The room is not fancy, but I don’t need it to be. I’m not at the beach to sit in my room all day. My stay was great as always!"

"We all loved the place. Was clean and comfy. Easy access to the beach and pool. Very friendly staff. If enjoy fishing can go right out back to the dock and fish in the sound. Loved it. Only thing we noticed was the lamp on the end table didn't work. Looks like the switch is broken and needs fixing or replaced The place is decorated beautiful!! Will stay there again!"
