"I had a good night staying at Anette's place, but travellers should be aware that the bathroom is shared with other guests and faces directly onto the communal area - I had to wait to use it in the morning, and then the other guest was having a long conversation right outside the door with Anette which meant I couldn't feel relaxed! But the bed, the room itself, the bathroom and the kitchen facilities were all good, as was the garden which I was able to sit in. "

"Ein wunderschönes Haus mit einem aufmerksamen und hilfsbereiten Gastgeber. Das Zimmer ist individuell und sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Es gab viel zu bestaunen und zu bewundern. Das Frühstück wurde liebevoll zubereitet und hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt. Die Betten waren ebenfalls sehr gut. Die Umgebung ist hübsch, das nächste Dorf fußläufig erreichbar. Wir werden gerne wieder kommen!"

"What a little gem for those on passing through on the ferry or simply wanting to explore the area. The hotel is actually an old clock shop made into a hotel to make use of a space left empty, and it's not just a room but a whole flat - very spacious and decorated quirkily with lots of old clocks around. Our children loved it, especially the bunk bed in the 2nd bedroom! The cost is tiny compared with the value you get for it! And the welcome was also very warm. The area itself could do with a bit...
