The staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, and the gardens and properties are beautiful with views overlooking the forest (including the mountain where we did our gorilla trek!). The restaurant area sits atop a hill overlooking a valley with 360 views of the mountains and scenery. The entire property is very peaceful and the restaurant served a three-course meal every evening. The rooms were clean with little welcoming touches when we arrived....

It also has the advantage of being just minutes from the main gate to the national park (Rushaga Gate). The place is harder to find though, more signage would be appreciated. "

"This is a rustic inn with plenty of personality. We were greeted promptly at check in. The rooms are small, with 2 beds, but are nicely decorated. The public area has plenty if seating and a lovely fire in the evening. We had 2 massages, which were pleasant. The beautiful courtyard has many plants and outdoor seating. "The staff are super accommodating and lovely, all the food served, dinner, breakfast and the packed lunches are yum as. Room and bed were spacious and comfy. Highly recommend to anyone doing gorilla trekking at Buhoma."
