Great but overpriced hotel
This hotel had all the comforts of home however is charged in Indian rupees not Sri Lankan rupees. What we thought was a $80Aus hotel room was infact $190Aud - definitely not worth this price tag.

Fantastic!
Loved my stay at the Hotel Silver Dew. It had a good location, close enough to town that you could walk, but far enough to be able to enjoy the mountain and lake views. This is a new hotel with beautiful views. They have onsite eating options so you are able to order at your convenience. Hotel was quiet when we were there and enjoyed our upgraded room. They assisted in helping us find a car and driver to Ella. Was only here on an overnight so cannot comment on activities.

Definitely worth more than a day stay.
Room was excellent, we took the family room. Please note family room only consists of 2 single bed and 1 double bed. The website says 2 double bed, 2 single bed which is false!! We were 5 of us and managed though.

Olimme varanneet "Deluxe Room with lake wiew" huoneen. Saimme huoneen joka oli täysin pohjoiseen päin missä aurinko ei ikinä näy, eikä järveäkään. Se tarkoittaa todella kylmää tällä seudulla, ja se oli huonoa kun olimme kuvitelleet että saisimme istua parvekkeellamme ihastellellen järveä auringossa. Valitimme omistajalle, ja hän syytti Hotels.com tai Expedia että aina ne myyvät väärää. Siihen emme uskoneet eikä omistaja yrittänyt mitenkää hyvittää tai pyytää anteeksia.

Not recommendable
This hotel was closed down when we arrived on the 12th of november 2016 even though the hotel had accepted our reservation. They have refused to confirm this to Hotels.com. We paid in advance and now Hotels.com won't refund our money. Because of that i can not recommend this hotel.

Fijn en zeer comfortabel hotel
Wij verbleven twee nachten in dit hotel. Het is een nieuw hotel, erg schoon en erg fijn en ruim opgezet. De kamer was ruim en schoon met een groot bed. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en zeer behulpzaam. De locatie is goed te lopen vanaf het centrum, makkelijker (en ook goedkoop) is een tuktuk de steile weg op. Let op: praktisch alle hotels liggen enigszins de heuvel op, dit hotel is geen uitzondering, maar het is niet storend. Wij kijken terug op een heel fijn verblijf.
