It was a nice small town you can visit on a day trip from Belgrade. It takes only one hour by bus ($7). Please make sure to take an express bus as the regular bus that makes many stops takes more than 2 hours.
If you're looking for some top things to see and do in Grbavica and surrounding area, you can visit Serbian National Theatre and Freedom Square.
While there might not be top attractions in Bistrica, you can explore the larger area and discover places like Freedom Square and Petrovaradin Fortress.

It is filled with wonderful shopping, restaurants, museums, parks, and views of the Danube River.
Great city to visit for culture, strolling and dining. We did a free city walking tour, very informative and interesting.
